Burning olive oil shows an informed and refined nature

Burning olive oil just makes good sense
Burning olive oil is safer than candles and kerosene lamps. Olive oil and other non-petroleum fuels do not flash, so if a lamp is tipped over, the flame dowses out in the fuel. Also, olive oil is non-toxic, so it won't poison pets or small children. In fact, olive oil is good for you. Olive oil lamps, which also burn other vegetable oils and liquid fats, represent a clean, practical, and efficient way to produce flame lighting. They are inexpensive, easy to use and are safer than candles or kerosene lamps. They are brighter than candles, as or more economical, and have no odor with a clean and properly trimmed wick. They're hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, and non-petroleum. Good for EMERGENCIES since they not only burn olive oil but virtually all other vegetable oils, liquefied fat including bacon fat, chicken fat, butter, lard or any easily obtainable fat. These fuels are often in abundance when petroleum fuels may not be.

Where can I get an Olive oil lamp?
Lamps designed to burn Olive oil, and other vegetable oils and fats can be gotten from Oil Lamps at Lehman’s or, Merry Corliss at GOATELDER@AOL.COM mention olive oil lamps in subject bar.
It is not possible to wick olive oil or any vegetable fuel or liquid fat in a conventional lamp
It requires a lamp specially designed to burn olive oil, and other vegetable oils and fats .I intend to address the subject of burning various oils, but for now, suffice it to say, that for many good reasons, the most trouble free fuel to burn from a wick, is olive oil. Compared to candles, olive oil is economical to burn as well. 2 ounces burns for many hours, and is often cheaper than candles.
